Hair Transplants Thailand

Eliminate balding with Hair Transplants. Thailand surgeons are experts.

Individuals can remedy their hair loss issues with hair transplants.  Thailand surgeons are experts in the many techniques available today to restore natural looking hair.  For some individuals, hair loss is hereditary; some individuals pull their hair out—a condition called trichotillomania; and some women loose their hair during childbirth.

Additionally, there are individuals who lose there hair because they exhibit poor diet, or because they are stressed or ill.  Other individuals may be taking certain medications.  For the individuals who loose their hair because of diet, stress or illness, hair loss issues can be fought at home.  The cases that can be fought at home are few.  For the majority of individuals who loose there hair, home remedies are unsuccessful and these individuals may require hair transplants.  Thailand surgeons will help the individual determine in which category they fit.  If hair transplantation is the most viable option, the surgeon will guide the individual through the process.

Options available for treatment
Punch grafting, slit grafting and scalp reduction are among some of the many options available in hair transplants.  Thailand surgeons choose treatment procedures based on the results the individual desires.  Some individuals may wish for remarkable fullness in which case physicians are likely to select scalp reduction.  Other individuals may want a less striking fullness for which physicians may select a mini-grafting procedure. Some of the prevalent options available to clients experiencing hair loss include:
  • Rogaine - Rogaine is one of two drugs approved by the United States FDA for treatment of baldness. It is a topical liquid and has been on the market for more than 20 years. Rogaine manufacturers continue to study and improve achieved results.
  • Propecia - The second drug approved by the U.S. FDA to combat hair loss issues is Propecia.  Unlike Rogaine which is offered in a liquid solution and is placed on the scalp, Propecia is offered in a pill that is taken once per day.
  • Micro-grafting - Micro-grafting transplants hair from healthy areas of the head—usually the back and sides of the head, and moves the healthy hair to the balding area.  In micro-grafting, the hair is said to have been transplanted from the healthy area to the balding area.

The Procedure
Grafts of healthy hair is moved, or transplanted, from the back and sides of the head and is moved to the balding area.  This process is done in several intervals and requires healing in between each interval.  The complete process can take up to two years.  Because of the length of time involved and the process itself, hair transplantation requires solid commitment from the patient.

Recovery Period
Depending on the technique used, the patient may experience some throbbing, tightness or pain after a hair transplant.  Thailand surgeons will prescribe the necessary medicines to aid in the healing process. For procedures that require incisions, the surgeon will meet with the patient regularly to ensure that the incisions are healing appropriately.

Risk
The potential risks for hair transplantation includes, infections—potential in all surgeries, grafts may not take, surgery may need to be repeated, hair lost may continue after surgery (this will cause the hair to look patchy), and small bumps may develop at the augmented area.
